Who we are
The Cerna Foundation was created on the principle that helping our elderly is not only charitable, but a necessity. Our Elderly have created everything we know and value in our country. They have fought world wars, created our value system and are a dwindling asset that every American should cherish and spend more time getting to know. Many of our elderly live below the poverty level, faced with the costs of in-home aid and attendance. The Cerna Foundation raises money, awareness and volunteers to help combat this problem head-on. We not only want our elders to have the care and attention they deserve, but also to share and pass on their knowledge and values to the next generation.
